Mature cataract secondary to anterior uveitis, adult horse


Cataracts secondary to anterior uveitis in horses often have posterior synechiae and variable iris pigment adhered to the anterior lens capsule. Cataract surgery in adult horses is less successful than in foals because most cataracts are secondary.
