Treated chronic superficial keratitis (pannus), German Shepherd


When pannus is successfully controlled with topical corticosteroids (1% prednisolone solution once to four times/day), vision is usually maintained longterm. Often some of the corneal disease is still present but not within the central and visually important cornea.
