Fatty liver disease, gross lesions, cockatiel

Fatty liver disease (hepatic lipidosis), gross lesions, in a cockatiel. A pale liver is located beneath the heart, nestled in a pad of abdominal body fat. The diet consisted of mixed seeds, of which only sunflower seeds were actually eaten.
