Quarter horse with external abscess, fever, and cough
Review of Systems
General
: Good body weight with a large, hard mass over left pectoral region.
Skin
: Normal except for alopecia over the pectoral mass that is also draining pus.
HEENT
: Mild ocular discharge OD, mild scleral injection OU. No nasal discharge.
Pulmonary
: Mild lung sounds with deep wheeze noted on right. Coughed during exam.
Cardiovascular
: No murmurs or arrhythmias
Gastrointestinal
: Eating, drinking, urinating, and defecating normally.
Genitourinary
: Noncontributory
