A 12-year-old castrated male American Eskimo dog is brought to the clinic by his owner for further evaluation. He has an 8-month history of pollakiuria and polydipsia (PU/PD) and a 1-month history of intermittent hematuria. Abdominal radiographs from the referring veterinarian show several small calculi and a probable mass in the urinary bladder. Patient was prescribed a course of NSAIDs, after which the owner noticed an improvement in activity level.
