Severe periglandular fibrosis and cystic glandular distension, histopathology, mare

Periglandular fibrosis is thought to contribute to cystic glandular distention, because it prevents the glands from releasing their secretions. There are seven fibrotic nests in this field. This is a Category III endometrium.
