Poisoning of Children by Pet Medications
Children 5 and under are at greater risk of toxicity from pet medicines than older kids according to a recent study of calls to a poison control center. Exposures commonly happened when the children gained access to the drug containers or when they ate medications that were placed within food intended for the pet.
