AVMA has announced that they are cancelling this year's annual convention, originally set for July 27-August 4 in San Diego, because of public health risks associated with the coronavirus pandemic. All associated group meetings planned for the same time are also cancelled. AVMA will be issuing registration refunds and cancelling hotel reservations made through AVMA's official hotel block.
The meeting planners are considering virtual conference options, including live CE sessions and a virtual House of Delegates meeting to conduct AVMA business.
Next year's meeting will be held in Minneapolis.
