CT scans, stereotactic radiotherapy, dog

Axial slice CT scans of a dog with a nasal chondrosarcoma before (A) and 9 months after (B) treatment with stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT) consisting of 10 Gy/fraction administered on 3 consecutive weekdays. A. Note that the tumor (yellow arrows) is displacing the eye and invading into the hard palate. B. Note the marked regression of the tumor (yellow arrow). There is still a defect present in the palatine bone (yellow star) and the tumor has receded from this area.
