Gross hepatic lesions, inclusion body hepatitis, chickens

Gross hepatic lesions found in inclusion body hepatitis. The liver on the left shows yellowish discoloration and pinpoint hemorrhages. The liver on the right shows severe swelling, patchy pale discoloration, and pinpoint hemorrhages. Similar lesions may be found in chickens affected with hepatitis hydropericardium syndrome.
