Level 1 PVC splint, distal hindlimb, horse
Horse with a PVC splint placed over a modified Robert Jones bandage. The splint is placed plantar in the hindlimb and affixed to the limb with several layers of duct tape. Note that the splint extends from the proximal calcaneus over the sole to the tip of the toe, and it is well padded at the top.
