PredniSONE

Dogs: 1 mg/kg, PO, q 48 h

PredniSOLONE

Cats: 1 mg/kg, PO, q 48 h

Megestrol acetate

Dogs: 0.5–1 mg/kg, PO, q 24 h

Diazepam

Cats: 0.005–0.4 mg/kg, IV, as needed

Oxazepam

Cats: 2–3 mg/cat, PO, q 12 h

Cyproheptadine

Cats: 1–4 mg/cat, PO, q 12 h

Mirtazapine

Cats: 2 mg/cat, transdermally, q 24 h; 1.88 mg/cat, PO, q 72 h

Dogs: 3.75 mg/dog, PO, q 24 h for dogs < 7 kg, 7.5 mg/dog, PO, q 24 h for dogs > 7–15 kg, 15 mg/dog for dogs > 15–30 kg, 30 mg/dog for dogs > 30 kg (no more than 30 mg per dog)

Capromorelin

Dogs: 3 mg/kg, PO, q 24 h

Cats: 2 mg/kg, PO, q 24 h
