Review Calls for More Effective Evaluation of Predator Control Strategies

A review of research on methods to control predation on livestock found that few studies have critically evaluated the effectiveness of efforts to reduce predation. This is particularly true of lethal control methods. The authors suggest new research emphasize comparisons between interventions and control groups to provide evidence of how well the methods work.
