The Companion Animal Parasite Council (CAPC) has published its January 2019 Top 10 Cities Heartworm Report. The list details those cities around the US that have shown the greatest increase in the percentage of animals testing positive for heartworms. The group hopes to remind pet owners that heartworm disease is widespread across the country and remains a threat even in the colder months.
