Abomasal lesions due to Ostertagia
Abomasal lesions due to Ostertagia

The mucosa of this abomasum is diffusely studded with raised, gray-white nodules that can coalesce to form plaques. Ostertagia larvae may occasionally be found protruding from nodules. This characteristic lesion is known as "Moroccan leather."
