Dystrophin-deficient muscular dystrophy, dysphagia, dog (Brittany)
A juvenile male Brittany exhibiting dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) while drinking, a common clinical sign of X-linked dystrophin-deficient muscular dystrophy. The dog was examined because of failure to grow, progressive exercise intolerance, and dysphagia.
