Riemerella anatipestifer infection, neurologic findings, broiler Pekin ducklings

Video demonstrating characteristic neurologic signs in 4- to 5-week-old broiler Pekin ducklings with Riemerella anatipestifer infection. Notice lateral and dorsal recumbence of ducklings, leg paddling, and characteristic head circling and tremors (head shaking). Birds with this sign likely die within 24 hours. Removal of dead and neurologically affected ducklings from the rest of flock can reduce transmission when combined with appropriate therapeutics, cleaning, and biosecurity.
